DRAMATHERAPIST

I am a HCPC Registered Dramatherapist, creative arts and theatre practitioner, trainer and clinical supervisor. I am currently completing a Clinical Supervision Postgraduate Certificate at Derby University to add to my previous experience and training in clinical and safe guarding supervision.

I have worked in education settings, both in main stream settings and in pupil referral units, working with ADHD/ASD EBD and other mental health issues. I have worked in custodial and secure settings where I have worked with adults, young people and their carers within the care system. This work has been led by my particular interest in attachment difficulties and complex/ developmental trauma.

As well as my creative arts background, my therapeutic approach has developed over the years by using Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP level two) DBT and CBT. I am an AIMS 3 assessor with specialties in harmful sexual behaviour (HSB). I have worked in various different sectors such as the private, voluntary and public.

I am currently working as a Clinician in the NHS, working with complex abuse and trauma clients.
