We are currently hoping to offer all our courses from September face to face. We will be adhering to Government Guidelines and therefore we will be reducing the amount of participants on the course to enable us to maintain social distancing.
It is important that you read all of the following information carefully so that you know what to expect when you join us for a course.
We are limiting numbers of course participants on site so please check details
Do not come to the Apricot Centre if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of coronavirus
Do not come to the Apricot Centre if in the last 14 days you have had contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Follow latest government guidelines and keep a minimum of 2m between you and anyone who is not from your household
Wash your hands regularly throughout the day. We will provide a hot water hand washing station for you to use when you arrive on site, and before the lunch break. We will provide hand sanitizer throughout the day.
We regret that for the time being we will not share food but we shall provide drinks and water your own lunch/snacks.
If on occasion it is absolutely necessary to share/swap tools, we will ensure they are properly sanitised. We will also be sanitising tools at the end of each day.
Please keep your personal belongings together and with you throughout the day.
If you have your own gloves please bring them. Otherwise we will provide gloves that will be on a two week rotation between uses.
We want all our visitors feel comfortable and safe on site so please respect our new procedures regardless of your own feelings about social distancing/government guidelines, and do not take offence if we make gentle reminders about them throughout the day.
If you would like to read our full risk assessment in relation to coronavirus, or any aspect of volunteering, we can provide it on request.
