Farm Activities

Apricot Centre Farm Club ActivitiesFarm Club

Run in our beautiful Forest school area every Friday afternoons in term times, 3:30 - 5pm. Farm club is an opportunity for children to learn and play in nature. Based on the ‘forest school’ model and run by experienced practitioners, farm club will allow children to safely explore our farm, learn about food and farming, help with things on the farm such as harvesting eggs, and learn traditional forest school skills.

We will meet at the farm gate on the Rattery Road (see location details on 'Find Us' page) and then make our way to the farm club site, seeing what interesting things there are to look at and harvest on the way down. Depending on the season, we'll play games, learn forest skills, forage for food, cook on an open fire, and help with fun farm asks such as collecting eggs from our lovely chickens .

All staff are DBS checked and Leah Kirby is a fully trained Forest School practitioner.

Cost:- we ask that you book in advance and costs will depend upon length of term sessions. There will be no other costs, all equipment provided. Initially, please pay on arrival.
